It’s great that you’re recognizing all these great charities/non-profits. I live in India, and the only one from your list that I’ve heard of is the World Literacy Foundation. India’s first trying to increase it’s literacy rate- which is quite low. I think encouraging people who can to read will come later.

Super list! I contribute monthly to Reading is Fundamental- such a great organization.I hate to think of anyone (especially a child) who wants a book to be deprived of it.
