My Sister just wanted ten or twelve books, so I just went through my book journal and picked the more recent ones that I’d given A’s or A+’s to. I think I rate about the same as I did then, maybe a little bit harder. I decided on the blog not to give A+ as a grade anymore, but sometimes I’m still tempted. Like with The Heart’s Invisible Furies.

I didn’t actually pick the title. Lori asked me if I would send her a batch of book reviews, so I sent some of my favorites from that year and she called it summer reading!
