A D book from you? It’s been awhile and it must have been dreadful. Thankfully, A Fire Sermon was not on my radar and I’ll ignore it if it comes up anywhere else.

I felt the same way about Little Deaths. The bias against single mothers is strong enough that it didn’t need to be stretched as far as Flint stretched it. It left me with a completely negative impression when I read it.

Ways to Hide in Winter is one that was on my radar. I think I may give it a try.

“Ways to Hide In Winter” is waiting for me on the hold shelf at my library. Hmmm. Will have to decide.

I *really* enjoyed “The Wife” — to the extent that I checked it out a second time because the timelines in the later stages of the book had me rethinking the situations. I’ve read a few other of her other books but this was by far the best.

Read a little about “Fire Sermon” and it went immediately into the “nope’ pile. I applaud you for even attempting.
