Great preview edition. Yes many of these look excellent! I have 2 of them on my 12 Books of Summer list: Malibu Rising and The Other Black Girl. Those seem like perfect summer reads. I liked Katie Kitamura’s last novel so I should check out her new one. I agree … there are a lot of great reads this summer. But I’m so sorry about your news this past week. just take some time .. it’s very hard. you need a breather. take care.

I love that we have some overlap, but you still have books I haven’t heard of. Yay! I’m hearing good things about The Maidens, but I’m most excited for The Secret Keeper of Jaipur- sequel to The Henna Artist. I need to be immersed in another time and place.

I finally got a copy of One Two Three and have it in my summer reading stack. I’m super excited about it, as I loved her previous book.
