I didn’t even like it enough to review. I got no sense of tension or suspense and found the sexual aspect of it really forced. Difficult to say because his novels have been some of my favorites in the past.

It did feel forced. I found it to be completely unrealistic. It is a shame that I have only read two of Bohjalian’s books, and found them both to be not worth reading at all in the end.

I truly enjoyed the inclusion of parasomnia as a function of this story, though; I’d love to read more about this now!

I guess it didn’t bother me so much b/c it is genetic and Lianna’s mom meeting Gavin at the sleep center made sense. I can see him being a detective on the case was a bit of a stretch, but it didn’t really bother me at the time I was reading.
