It’s really dark! When I first finished it I was a little stunned and didn’t think I liked it, but it really, really grew on me.

It was such a unique combination of magical realism and the horror of WWII. Another one with a similar feel is Gretel and the Dark. AND it didn’t get much love either!

I have I’m Thinking, but had set it aside. Moving it back onto my TBR!
