What great choices- I loved so many of these of books! Descent and 11/22/63 were unbelievable for how they kept the tension high throughout. And even tough I don’t usually like nonfiction The Boys in the Boat read like fiction. I wish someone would turn all 3 of these into movies!

Sadly, I have no recommendations because my husband is a non-reader. I know, it’s a travesty.

Nice. I try to give books whenever I think the recipient will enjoy them. I often have a hard time shopping for my husband, unless he has mentioned the book. He doesn’t read often, but goes on mini reading binges every once in awhile. It’s not enough so that I can walk into a bookstore and have an easy time of it anyway. I will check all of these out. Thank you.

11/22/63 was such a great book – I need to reread it soon! These books all sound great, I wish I could get my husband to read – we were just talking last night about how he thinks I’ve read more books this year than he’s read in his whole life!

I really liked Youngblood and I absolutely loved 11/22/63..one of my all-time favorites.

I need to read your review of Heavenly Table…I tried it this summer and just couldn’t get into it and put it down after seeing a couple lackluster reviews from people who loved Devil All the Time.
