I loved that you recommended Beatriz Williams because I thought the same thing! I’m going to start a new Goodreads category for light reading and this will go there. I may need it before summer as I’m losing my taste for reading right now. Too hard to focus.

It sounds like a good premise and book cover too. I enjoyed your review of it. I know many along the mid-Atlantic go to Cape May for vacations and so it’s a bit of an interesting destination. I’ve only been there once.

I’ve had this on my list and figured it’d be a worthwhile read. I really like the premise, and even with a few weak points, it still sounds good.

I’m drawn to this one because I spent my childhood summers at the Jersey shore and have been to Cape May many times! I also love the time period.
