I think you’ll love it, Sarah. It’s not nearly as sad as A Little Life and I picked Owen Meany because Boyne dedicated the book to John Irving, and it’s another book I really liked.

Thank you for the mention. I love how you describe the dialogue…it was most definitely the star of this novel and I found myself stopping to admire how he pulled off writing it at the level he did. I also agree that the way he wove relationships in and out of Cyril’s life was brilliant and such a treat for us readers. I was happy with the epilogue but I can see your point that it may have been extra. I don’t know how John Boyne could top this one in the future but I can’t wait to find out!
