In reply to hillary. I'm so glad you're doing well. From reading this book, I realize a little more what an accomplishment that is. I think you'd enjoy it, and he presents their story honestly, and it ends with a lot of hope.

I had a friend suffer with mental illness and so I am a bit interested in this book. I had not heard of it. It sounds quite rough but that’s sort of how it is. thanks for the review.

I had my first on only ( so far *knocks on wood*) psychotic break at 27 also. I was evidentially diagnosed with Bipolar type 1. I am doing really well today. I want to read this book as these types of books makes me feel as if I am not alone.
