Good narration of an audiobook can make such a huge difference. I’d try almost any novel if it had a wonderful reader. I will for it.

In reply to Sarah's Book Shelves. I really think listening helps me to enjoy the lighter, fluffy books. I don't think I'd have enjoyed How to Walk Away as much had I read it.

Although I didn’t like How to Walk Away quite as much as you did, I liked the way the author presented Maggie’s time in the hospital, how she went between hope and despair and how surreal the whole experience felt for her.

Ha – yes! You and I landed in the same spot on the ending of How to Walk Away. It was totally ridiculous, but for some reason I didn’t even care! And, that’s really out of character for me. Totally different than my usual fare, but really glad I now have a “feel-good” book to recommend to people when they ask (I usually come up empty) 🙂
