I keep saying that I’m going to read Lucy Barton and haven’t done it yet; I need to make it happen! I am very interested to hear what you think of both The Animators and Desperation Road; I’m curious about both of them, but have yet to seek out a copy of my own. I really, REALLY, hope that you have a good experience with Swimming Lessons; I feel like I am in the minority, but I did not enjoy it. Hope you are enjoying the day and what a GREAT weekend!!

I also enjoyed “Our Endless Numbered Days” when I read it back in 2015 and I’m really looking forward to “Swimming Lessons.” It sounds totally different but equally intriguing!

I don’t read too many debuts or newly released books, but I have yet to find a book that has totally blown me away so far this year (early days of course), I’m hoping one of my current books proves to be that title.
