As an animal lover I enjoyed the human-animal connection in it.

Hillbilly Elegy sounds good– I saw it on Sarah’s also. And the book about the school shooting interests me– isn’t that kind of strange for me to say– but I’m a lover of dissecting society and seeing how “we tick”. Have a good week.

I liked Faithful a lot, but found it was quite different than most of her other books. Less of the magical element.

I’ve been seeing Faithful about a fair bit this week… Surprisingly, I have yet to read any of Alice Hoffman’s work, but she has been on my radar for a while.
