I hope you're going to write more about Idaho because I feel as if I'm going to be standing alone as someone who did not get or enjoy the book at all. I thought the writing was beautiful, but the story never came together. It's times like this when I wish we belonged to book club so we could sit around and discuss!

Susie, I noticed in your reply to Sarah that you said The Sleepwalker didn't really do it for you; SAME HERE! I felt a little disappointed by the end...sigh. Oh, well. I'm interested in reading Idaho, so thank you for the recommendation, and Lucky Boy sounds right up my alley!

Oh, the holidays are so much more relaxing when you're not hosting! I always worry about overcooking the turkey, it's so stressful, so I'm very happy to be a thankful and appreciative guest! ?

In reply to <a href="https://novelvisits.com/monday-reading-12-26-16/#comment-350">Sarah's Book Shelves</a>.

I liked Idaho a lot- the writing was lovely, but it's not going to be a "best of" book! And, if you're excited about the library holds, you should go for those. Sleepwalker for me did not lived up to all the hype!

So...I finished Idaho on Xmas Eve and I don't think I'm as keen on it as everyone else is. Didn't quite gel for me.

I was planning to start Sleepwalker right after Idaho, but then a library hold came in, so will read it after I finish that. And now ANOTHER library hold (that I've been waiting for for months) just came in this morning. Grr. Why does that always happen?

I'm also interested in Lucky Boy - Catherine said it was good!
