I’m 25% into The Shadow Land and am still not quite sure where it’s going, but she’s keeping me interested- if that makes sense!

I liked Hamid’s first book- even with the 2nd person narration, which was tough, so think I need to try this one. I generally love magical realism so it sounds perfect for me!

In reply to Kathy Martin. The magic in Exit West is very obvious and plays a big part in the movement of the story, but little time in the book. (If that makes sense!)
