I was in Montana, where it was very hot, but I’ve been home since Friday night and am loving the high 70’s, low 80’s we keep getting. My porch is going to get a lot of reading action this week!

I’m reading Tornado Weather and loving it. It’s reminding me a bit of Sara Taylor’s The Shore- the same kind of structure and dark worldview.

I’m literally baffled by What We Lose…there are certainly some brilliant sentences, but the book as a whole felt so jumpy to me! I’m confused about all the hype.
