Allison, you and I are exactly alike on the lighter audiobooks. I think that’s why I liked 28 summers so much. It was fun and lighter on audio. I ended up turning to another of her books, The Identicals, for my next audiobook. They’re both read by Erin Bennett and she’s very good.

I’ve now read almost 200 pages in The Ballad and I’m really enjoying that one, too!

A strange holiday weekend! We did go out to the open-air garden center yesterday to buy some plants for the garden and a couple of hanging plants for the front porch.

As she is only 11, I wanted to make sure it was appropriate, so I downloaded it from Audible and it will be my next listen. If I think it is okay for her, I’ll order her a print or eBook copy.
