I was so looking forward to your thoughts on these books, and just love how you’ve shared them – we have very similar thoughts of the two books. Whilst I enjoyed my recent read of Swimming Lessons, I definitely preferred the story + reading experience I had with Our Endless Numbered Days. Claire Fuller is an author I’ll be keeping my eye on.

I love the way you formatted this review! Both sound like they are worth reading. I love the cover art on Swimming Lessons and love the title Our Endless Numbered days.

Ahh! I love this comparison you’ve put together, Susie; what a great idea! As I’ve mentioned before, I definitely enjoyed, and felt more connected to, Our Endless Numbered Days. This comparison gives me a little more perspective on why I may have experienced them differently, even though there are many similarities. Fantastic post!

I love how you did this! And didn’t think about the two novels like this at all…but it all makes sense.

I think with both the Moms leaving…Ute could be a little more devastating b/c Ingrid’s girls believed for so long that she’d had an accident and died. Or at least a part of them did. So, it’s less like an abandonment.
