I’m not sure we read the same book. It was unfocused and meandering. There was always something better to do than pick it back up again. And always a good reason to put it down. I did finish, but I’m not sure I’m the better off for it. Although toward the end it picked up a little — other than that it seemed to be in a neutral gear for 200+ pages. This definitely needed a better editor.

And I didn’t need the Epilogue.

Great review! This books is already on my wishlist, but would for sure have gone on after reading this review if it wasn’t. I have heard a few people mention how good of a debut this is. Thanks for sharing!
