Thanks, Susan. Sometimes even great narration can’t save a book and that was the case for me with A Star is Bored. I’ve seen many other positive reviews, so I think I’m in the minority on that one.

Oh Debi, I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s death. Can 2020 get any worse? I think you’ll find the two American Royals books very easy to listen to and your granddaughter will probably love them, too.

I feel like I’d really like to go back and read her earlier memoir that was focused on the time they were starting Delance. I’ve been there several times, so think I’d find it really interesting.

I don’t usually do YA or romance, but after my husband’s death last month I’ve DNF’d two audiobooks so finally decided to go for an easy listen. Plus, if I like it at all I can pass the recommendation on to my 16-year-old granddaughter.

I have one of her earlier books in my stacks, as well. Coincidentally, one of the people I follow on Instagram (have never met her, but enjoyed her blog many years ago) recently went through a very similar experience (she even has a young daughter) as Wizenberg. I’m happy they have both found their true happiness.
