					<description><![CDATA[Yes I thought the ending of the Nickel Boys was strong too. There&#039;s a twist is there not, that Turner used Elwood&#039;s name later in life in NYC and those are the interspersed chapters. It&#039;s crushing how the real Elwood was a bright kid with much potential -- who thought he might stop the harm by writing the letter -- but all he got was retribution. It&#039;s a grim story but Whitehead had some very strong sentences &#038; storytelling in it!]]></description>
