Can you believe that it’s already Winter Preview time? Ready or not, it is and that means it’s time to take a break from the chaos of the Holiday Season, and turn our attention to the New Year. Come January things will be slower, calmer. The weather will often force us to cancel plans and stay inside for days at a time. Doesn’t that sound perfect right about now? You know what will make it even more perfect? Great books to read! Lucky for all of us that winter is also one of the times of year when great new books are being published at a furious rate. So, sit back, grab a warm beverage of your choice, and take a look at the sixteen winter books I’m featuring in my Winter Preview 2020. May you find many you can’t wait to read!

YESS! I love this round up. I immediately requested Uncanny Valley from Netgalley- haven’t heard if it but that sounds so in my wheelhouse! I’m also counting Such a Fun Age as a 2020 release.

12/31/19 is kind of a weird release date. I wasn’t sure what to do with it.

Some interesting titles! I just put the Pinborough on hold. Loved Behind Her Eyes. Second one just OK.
I don’t love debuts a much as you do. My list from 2019 shows I have much more success with tried and true authors.
Will enjoy hearing what you have to say about many of these!

Love your list. This is what we need! I’d picked out Kiley Reid’s book for my December Preview so I hope to get to it. Of your other picks I gotta go with American Dirt! I didn’t realize all the hype but now after seeing all the remarks: I got to get my hands on it.
Susie says
Good luck with that. I’ve tried everything and have yet to secure a copy of American Dirt. At this point I think I’m going to wait for the audiobook. I love Cassandra Campbell’s narration.
Catherine says
We don’t have much overlap, which is great because it means you can vet all these books for me!
I’m looking forward to: Weather, House of Trelawney, and Writers and Lovers because they’re all from authors I love.
