So far, my reading this year has been a bit of a roller coaster. Early in January I read a few books I loved, but then I hit a patch that made me feel I was about to head into a slump. You know that feeling? Then, my February reading really took off with so many books I loved, including several from my Winter Preview. Now it’s time to see if the spring crop of books can keep that streak going. I considered SO MANY for this Spring Preview 2023 and I hope the 20 I settled on will give us all hours and hours of reading pleasure. As an added bonus, while putting this all together I realized that this list includes 11 debuts, hopefully bringing with them much to look forward to in the coming years….

Instagram is so much easier and Sarah’s Bookshelves Live podcast so much more fun. But, I just cant seem to say goodbye to it, so I’m in for another year. Let’s kick it off with Winter Preview 2023! I always have fun pulling these previews together and they really keep me on top of my own reading. I’ve twenty potential best books here, so I hope you can find a few to add to your own 2023 “to be read” lists. And, if you stop back by on Wednesday you’ll find me sharing my Best Books of 2022.…

For most of us the clocks moved forward over the weekend ushering in the unofficial start of spring. I think almost everyone is usually happy to bid winter adieu and this year is certainly no exception. The winter weather has been rough and then there’s everything else going on in the world. Will we ever have a calm, peaceful, healthy, normal world again? I know we all are praying for that in one way or another. In the meantime, books continue to offer a great escape and here, in my Spring Preview 2022, I have some really great books to get lost in. Most are April and May releases, but I HAD to add in one from next week. I hope you find a few to add to your own spring TBR!…

It’s always a bit of a shock when summer comes to an end, but this year I’m looking forward to fall like no other year. For the first time since my children were young I’m not heading back to school. Instead, I get to figure out what retirement is going to feel like and I am looking forward to that journey. I wish I was zooming off to Europe, but it doesn’t feel like a very wise choice right now, so I’ll hold off on that for awhile. Instead, I plan on visiting with family, getting my house in order, and reading all of the 16 books on this Fall Preview 2021, plus a few more. Hopefully, you’ll find a few here you can enjoy, too!…

We still have the entire fall with schools and businesses closed / functioning from homes, possible upticks in cases of COVID-19, plus the entire election season to get through. Will this year ever end?!? I don’t know about you, but one thing that helps me hang onto my sanity is most definitely books. It’s looking like 2020 will be a record year for me in terms of the number of books I’ve read and new fall releases will help further add to my numbers. Today in my Fall Preview 2020 I’m thrilled to be sharing sixteen of the books I’m most looking forward to in the coming months….

As much as I adore summer (and I really adore summer), there are still great things to be said about the fall. With back-to-school, Halloween and the other holidays it’s a time of year that really focuses on kids and family. As the days grow shorter and the weather turns bleaker, fall becomes the perfect time of year to work in a little extra reading time. Fall also marks a time of year when we often see incredible new books published, and this year is no exception. So, grab a cup of coffee or tea, snuggle in and peruse some of the books I’m most looking forward to reading this fall.
