Happy New Year! Another one is over and in the books, and we’re all moving on to a fresh new year. For me, 2018 seemed longer than usual, while it already feels like 2019 is starting to fly by. With a tough work year, books truly have been a balm for my soul as have all the bookish conversations I’ve enjoyed through this blog and so many others. Book lovers are the best and I continue to be grateful to be a part of this community every single day. Thanks to all of you!

Happy New Year! The older I get, the faster time flies, and I suspect it’s the same for most everyone else. I can’t say 2017 was my favorite year ever, but it was the first full year for Novel Visits and in that way filled with wonder and new experiences. In the new year, I’ll continue my blogging journey making tweaks and improvements along the way, and best of all connecting with so many other book lovers!.

Wrapping It Up! January 2017 | More

With the end of the first month of 2017, I’ve decided to do a little experimenting with a monthly wrap up. So, January will be my first. I apologize if it’s a little rough and not extremely original, but I know my wrap ups will improve with time. I’m a person who definitely needs let ideas evolve as I live with them. Please feel free to offer any feedback and/or suggestions. I’d appreciate it!

2017 Reading & Blogging Goals | Musings

Happy New Year!

For some time now, I’ve been considering goals, mentally cataloguing them. Today, the first in 2017, is the perfect time to more formally (and publicly!) set down goals for the year. I would not under any circumstances call them resolutions because I don’t believe in those. In my opinion, resolutions are just ways of setting yourself up for failure! Goals, on the other hand, are more suggestions, things to aim for, kinder somehow….
